A poignant image of a young, antlered male figure holding his beloved. The couple is framed by snake imagery, (rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing), and grape vines (fertility, prosperity and the connection to the divine). Sensual, protected and elegant. From a series of pencil works created in 1985. Wonderful detail and depth to both the imagery and the story.

This original work has been re-framed with a custom rustic wood frame, archival triple-matted with a linen top mat, acid-free backer board & materials and re-glazed with museum conservation clear UV protective glass. Signed by Susan Seddon Boulet bottom center. Dated 1985.
